Most people charged with a crime are not criminals.

I learned that well before I left the District Attorney’s Office. I was there for 16 years. Most men and women charged with a crime have no criminal record. Or, what they have is insignificant. Most people have just screwed up. They’ve lost their tempers, had too much to drink, thought they might get something for nothing or, having started to go down a risky road, didn’t know how to stop. My role as an attorney and counselor is to get you the best result possible, and to help you deal with the fears and anxiety that face all men and women who are charged with a crime.
